Life Teen holds weekly meetings called Life Nights
- Life Nights are open to ANYONE in high school! They are creative nights that allow teens to grow in relationship with Christ and each other by bringing our Catholic faith to life. We LOVE & HOPE to see your faces every week, but there is no requirement to come every week in order to participate. Come when you can!
- Life Nights are filled with prayer, teaching, small groups, games, activities, laughter, and food.
- Each Life Night we focus on teaching teens more about their Catholic faith while forming an accepting loving community. Through youth focused liturgies, Life Nights, service opportunities, & social activities, teens grow to love the Sacraments, the Scriptures, & to know Christ personally.

Life Teen also hosts trips, service projects, retreats, and more!
- Christ calls us to live out our faith in our daily lives. Life Teen
strives to help youth be Christ to ALL
- Past events and trips for Life Teen include XLT nights in the church, Baltimore WorkCamp, and Steubenville Conferences among others
- Life Teen regularly holds service projects for our parish and community

Opportunities to Serve
Peer Ministry
Peer Ministry/Servant Leadership is not an alternative to weekly youth group. It is an opportunity for teens who have received the Sacraments of Initiation to go above and beyond what is learned and done on Sunday nights and put into practice our call to put into practice what we preach.
Our Peer Ministry Program follows the servant leadership model, using Christ as our example of leadership and behavior. Peer ministers learn leadership skills and habits that are put into practice by helping plan and lead events for one or more of the following ministries: Confirmation Ministry and/or EDGE (Middle School) Ministry.

Youth Praise Band
Do you love music? Are you a singer or musician? We want you! Our Youth Praise Band is auditioning new musicians at this time.
Rehearsals on Monday nights 5:00-6:15pm and Sundays 4:30-5:10pm, right before the Praise Mass. Reach out to Noelle Vink at nvink@theimmaculate.org to schedule an audition.

Encounter Ministry
The purpose of Encounter Ministry is to ensure each person who comes through our doors has an authentic encounter with Christ in the face of our parishioners as well as at the Eucharistic table.
Encounter Ministry combines and expands the tasks commonly associated with the greeters and ushers. Ministers are needed for the 5:00pm Mass on Saturdays and the 5:30pm Mass on Sundays. This ministry is more than holding doors, handing out song sheets and taking up the collection. The goal of this ministry is to embody Christ in our actions and to create an atmosphere of joyful welcome. Reach out to Patty McCarty at pmccarty@theimmaculate.org for more information.
